No, at this time, you can only take surveys online. You can use your phone, laptop or any computer that is connected to the internet.

Who can take the survey?

All adults (18 years or older) who received an invitation postcard or email can take the survey.

 

How long is the survey?

Most surveys take 3-10 minutes to finish.

Your answers are used by leaders in non-profit groups, government and business. They use your answers to make better decisions.

 

Are you trying to sell me something?

No, we will never try to sell you anything or sell your personal information to anyone.

 

Who will see my answers?

On most surveys, we collect answers from more than 1,000 people and summarize them so that no one knows who answered a question. Only a handful of researchers at Lumaris have access to your personal information. We have policies and procedures in place to ensure that we never share your name or contact information without your permission.

 

How will you protect my privacy?

Keeping your personal information private and secure is a top priority. Here's how we do that:
 

1. Any information you provide is stored on secure computers. Only a small number of researchers will have access to your answers.

2. We store your personally identifiable information (or PII) separately from your survey answers. This means people who see your answers will not see your name, and people who do see your name will not see your answers.

3. When we no longer need your personally identifying information, we permanently delete it.

4. We never make your personally identifiable information public. However, we sometimes publish or share anonymized datasets on our website or with clients. These datasets include the answers of everyone who took that survey but do not include any personally identifiable information. In other words, everyone's answers are anonymous in these datasets.
    

In addition, Lumaris researchers belong to the American Association of Public Opinion (AAPOR) and follow its Transparency Initiative. We also follow AAPOR's Code of Ethics, which includes a code protecting the privacy of survey participants.

 

Who is sponsoring this survey?

Some of our surveys are self-funded. For sponsored surveys, sponsors may include non-profit groups, government agencies, businesses and news outlets.

 

Lumaris is non-partisan. Lumaris does not conduct surveys for political parties or political candidates.
